  • NEW: The Carol Stream Woman’s Club is sponsoring an Outstanding Teacher Award Contest to recognize a CCSD 93 teacher who is truly special and remarkable in the field of education.

    TO NOMINATE A TEACHER

    In order to participate, a student must write an essay (approximately 60 words for K-3 and 100 words for grades 4-8) describing the teacher and what makes him/her special or outstanding. The essay does not have to be about the student’s current teacher. Parents may help those who are too young to write, but the entry must be in the child’s own words.

     

    IN ADDITION TO THE STUDENT’S ESSAY, ALL ENTRIES MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

    Student’s name, grade, address, e-mail address (if available), phone number, parents’ name, teacher’s name, grade taught and school. Deadline is March 28th, and please send to the club PO Box 87353 or email to doll1183@comcast.net

  • On March 15th, 2008 sign up for one of three sittings for Breakfast with the Bunny at Aldrin Community Center.
  • Save the Date now for our annual Family Italian Dinner Night for November 8th, 2008!
  • Also in Spring 2008 we'll be selecting a high school scholarship recipient, holding a Mother's Day Sweet Sale for the school children, plus our annual May Installation Dinner. Please join us!
